Very fragrant. Attracts butterflies
From the Experts
This hybrid species is considered an improvement over the traditional Koreanspice Viburnum. Judd Viburnum have an excellent fragrance and are more resistant to bacterial leaf spot than Viburnum carlesii. Viburnum juddii typically grow to 8 feet in height and make an excellent hedge. Pruning is typically done after flowering, since the fruit is not especially ornamental. Pruning can be done later in the season, but care must be taken, as Judd Viburnum blooms on old wood.
