This is not a rhetorical question: How is it Labor Day weekend? I feel as if I was just wishing you all a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Alas, summer has come to an end and we have one final long weekend to savor the time with friends and family. My hope is you were able to get away for some much needed R&R this month before we all gear up for the next fall push.

I’ve always loved this time of year. The kids are back to school and it is the beginning of the change in seasons. In our industry, we plan for early fall with a shift of both mindset and inventory–all the while being dependent upon our beloved Mother Nature. She’s proven to be extra fickle this year, and we again experienced extremes this past month from rain to heat. Here at LandscapeHub, we’ve anticipated the “traditional” needs of the early-fall season and are excited to announce the two bulb suppliers that have been added to our network of over 100 suppliers: A.D.R. and De Vroomen. Beyond bringing in new products and inventory, one of the many benefits of our platform is the immediate visibility and access to inventory when there are shortages of product. Rely upon LandscapeHub when you need to know NOW if the product you require is currently available for your projects.

My team and I have been zigzagging the country this month out at trade shows and visiting with new buyers and suppliers! We exhibited at the Independent Garden Center show, attended the TNLA  Nursery/Landscape EXPO, and then the following week out at the Far West Show in Portland, Oregon exhibiting again with our new booth. Back at LandscapeHub HQ in Chicago, the Operations and Tech team have been working endless hours this month on critical enhancements to our site. **You can anticipate some very exciting product news next month from LandscapeHub! **Be sure to already have access to the site with a login and password. As I often do, I offer my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your ongoing support. At times I step back in awe that something I envisioned for years has now become a reality. I am very much aware none of this would be happening without your support and the work of my team. I feel obligated to continue to grow and connect this industry for all of you. Thank you.
